What is a Bead store?

A bead store is a hands-on craft shop that offers a vast variety of unique materials for designing jewelry and other various arts. Beads come in all sizes and materials from rich historic glass beads from Venice used for trading to modern 3D printed beads made here in the United States. But it doesn’t stop there! How does one get started on jewelry making? While no two bead stores are the same, many offer workshops for learning a variety of techniques from traditional weaving methods to mixed media crafts and even flame work!

Here at String Bead, we carry hand-picked materials from all over the world including gemstones, pearls, wood, shell, Czech glass of all shapes & sizes, as well as the essential tools for jewelry crafting. We offer beading space for people to come and craft as well as studio time for those venturing into metal working. There is something for everyone! With beginner workshops starting at ages 8 and up to our torchwork courses for teens and even private events, it’s hard not to find your way back to the bead store.
